Beth Parent

Beth joined VPPSA in July 2026 as the Manager of External Affairs & Communications. She leads communications, public affairs, marketing, and stakeholder engagement efforts that advance VPPSA’s mission and support Vermont’s locally owned public power utilities. Prior to joining VPPSA, she held communications leadership roles at Chittenden Solid Waste District and Vermont Gas. Her communications career began at WCAX-TV, where she worked as a news reporter, anchor and producer for nearly ten years. When she’s not working, Beth can usually be found alongside her husband at a field or court, cheering on their children and embracing every season of high school and college sports.
