VPPSA provides a host of other services such as rate studies, central computer services, load forecasting, and tax free financing of certain capital projects.

At VPPSA, we believe that public power is locally-owned power and is a vital to building strong communities.

VPPSA Members enter into a Central Dispatch Agreement (CDA) with VPPSA for the economic dispatch of its generating sources.

Member Communities

VPPSA’s membership includes twelve (12) consumer-owned municipals located within the State of Vermont. Each municipality owns and operates an electric utility. All combined, they serve a total of 50 communities and over 30,000 customers. The VPPSA Members include:
