2024 Electric Vehicle Rebates

Residential EV Charger

Description: Electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles have come a long way since first entering the market.  If an electric vehicle makes sense for you and your lifestyle, you may be eligible for a rebate incentive to help offset the initial investment.

Incentive Offers:

  • $1,250 back for a new all-electric vehicle
  • $500 back for a new plug-in hybrid
  • $500 back for a pre-owned all-electric vehicle
  • $250 back for a pre-owned plug-in hybrid

Income-qualifying customers may receive an additional $400 on a new or used electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle.

Eligibility:  Eligible for the purchase or lease of new or used all-electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (AEV or PHEV, respectively).

How to Claim Your Rebate:  To claim your incentive, please submit an online rebate application including required documentation, or visit one of the participating dealership to claim your incentive at the Point-of-Sale.

Required Documentation:

  • Proof of purchase and sales, or lease, agreement
  • Vermont Vehicle Registration
  • Copy of Electric Bill
  • Proof of residence if not the utility account holder
  • Completed W-9 form
