VPPSA Board of Directors Announcements
Waterbury Center, VT (April 6, 2020) – The Vermont Public Power Supply Authority (VPPSA) announced two changes to its board of directors. John Morley III, Village Manager of the Village of Orleans, is the newly elected board vice-chairman. Morley has served on the VPPSA Board of Directors for 22 years and most recently acted as chairman of the board from 2015-2017. Penny Jones, General Manager of Morrisville Water & Light Department, is newly appointed to the VPPSA Board of Directors. Jones previously served as a board alternate for nearly 13 years.
“I am pleased to welcome John and Penny into their new roles on the VPPSA Board of Directors. They bring extensive expertise and experience in their fields and will continue to be a tremendous asset to VPPSA as we serve municipal electric utilities throughout the state of Vermont,” said VPPSA General Manager, Ken Nolan.
The VPPSA Board of Directors is comprised of managers from 11 municipal electric utilities throughout the state of Vermont. The Board meets bimonthly to address issues that impact electric utilities and provide guidance on VPPSA’s operations.
